Bill joined ABA Business Solutions, Inc. as President in January 2004, bringing nearly 30 years of extensive, hands-on experience at major commercial banks. Prior to joining the ABA, Bill was first vice president of MBNA America Bank, Wilmington, Del., since 1996. He managed the bank's community bank business development area, which included negotiating partnerships with community banks in the areas of co-branded credit cards, consumer finance sales and marketing and mortgage banking operations.

Bill began his banking career in 1975 in the management training program of Maryland National Bank. When the bank was acquired in 1991 by (NationsBank) Bank of America, Kroll was senior vice president and division head for financial institutions, where he directed 350 respondent bank relationships. After leaving the bank in 1995, he did consulting work for Legg Mason Wood Walker working on product development for money managers and PNC Bank performing a capital markets study and survey for community banks. Bill received a B.S. in business and economics from the University of Maryland.

Helen is a Senior Vice President of Financial and Capital Markets for ABA Business Solutions, Inc. where she is responsible for developing and implementing of strategic alliances within the capital markets sector. These strategic alliances include balance sheet strategies and ABA's educational programs on Investor Relations. These alliances are structured to assist member institutions to compete and win within their respective markets. Additionally, Helen manages ABA's exclusive relationship with the Nasdaq Stock Market and was instrumental in developing and launching the America's Community Bankers-NASDAQ Stock Index, now known as the ABA NASDAQ Community Bank Index, the most broadly diversified stock index for publicly traded community banks. Helen also oversees the highly successful ABA Community Bank Investor Conferences, which provide community banks with a direct line to Wall Street. Prior to joining ABA Helen spent twelve years at Friedman Billings Ramsey Group focusing on capital management strategies for community banks and thrifts and six years at Goldman Sachs & Company in New York City. Helen holds a B.A. in Economics from The University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

Bob is responsible for developing and managing ABA's Center for Commercial Lending and Business Banking. Prior to entering into the trade association world, Bob was a commercial banker. During his thirty-year banking career, he served in various line and staff positions. He has extensive experience in the areas of commercial lending, sales and marketing, executive education and strategy development. Bob has been a relationship manager, senior relationship manager, market manager and head of commercial lending. Approximately 17 of his 30 years in banking were spent with Banc One Corporation, where he served as Chairman, President & CEO of one of Banc One's community banks and Director of Commercial Marketing and Research for the entire organization. Bob received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Jerry joined ABA Business Solutions, Inc. in May 2005 after spending 25 years in the financial industry. For 16 of those years, Jerry held various executive management positions with financial institutions in the Washington, D.C. area. Prior to this, Jerry worked in the mortgage industry in a number of jobs, including overseeing all the production in the mid-atlantic region for an out-of-state parent bank. For the three preceding years, Jerry managed a commercial redevelopment project in Alexandria, VA. Jerry received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Landon Banfield

Landon has 20 years of mortgage banking experience and had previously served as manager of mortgage solutions for ABA before leaving to establish a wholesale mortgage operation for American Partners Bank. Prior to his ABA service, Landon worked in various sales and management roles in wholesale lending with Chevy Chase Bank, Bank United, Aegis, and Ampro Mortgage. Landon also worked as a trading manager with Pedestal, Inc., which provided secondary mortgage market technology. Landon holds a B.A. degree from Washington & Lee University and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore.

David joined ABA Business Solutions, Inc. in October 2005 as manager of card solutions. David manages and develops card solutions for banks through best-in-class providers that want ABA's endorsement. David's previous jobs included First Data Corporation, where he sold and serviced Merchant Services for financial institutions. David's background also includes over ten years of commercial card sales and relationship management, previously working for MasterCard International and Bank of America. David received a B.S. in business administration from The American University.
